Menino should take it as a hint that ALL Mayoral candidates aside from him have been promising a major overhaul of the BRA.
It is a corrupt, dangerous, quasi-public in every way that is bad for the people of Boston (gets to keep the "legal kickbacks it gets from approving developments, not to mention a state discretionary budget, but has zero accountability to elected officials and to the people).
Heck, I'm in favor of shutting the damn thing down and you know actually making developers follow zoning laws. But I'll take reform happily.

The BRA needs to be abolished, not reorganized. sheesh.
