How cheerful! I wonder how
How cheerful! I wonder how many of these vacant storefronts will become nail salons or banks. That seems to be all we get these days in my neighborhood.
Don't forget the lovely Artana Gallery. It closed at 1378 Beacon Street late last year and sadly closed again on Boylston Street in Boston last month.
Brookline - Boo Hoo
Sorry - Roslindale I think wins for most vacant storefronts, but I won't waste time documenting on a digital landscape - not like the storefront next to Bank of America has been occupied for over 6 years...doesn't seem to be a rush, so I'll continue to carve them in granite here.
C'est d'ommage.
I miss Barnes & Noble, and the Daily Catch had wonderful seafood.
