Airline doggedly pursues Boston market

Who knew? There's an airline gearing up to just carry dogs and it's considering Boston as one of its destinations. Presumably, it would appeal to the sort of people who wheel their dogs around the Back Bay in baby carriages (sixth photo down).

Heh
I'd hate to see the line to use that bathroom... err...

No lie, I saw a bus(!), an honest-to-goodness short bus(!) driving around the Back Bay the other day dedicated to dogs. They were muzzled and strapped/leased onto the seats and riding along with the windows cracked.
All I could think was, "Don't let the crazy animal rights groups see those dogs muzzled and leased. The horror!"
This was right after I picked up my jaw at the people who have cash to spend to have a *$&#@ BUS(!) pick up their dog and take it to doggie daycare/groomer.
Recession? What recession!
Buses are for the proletariat
One of my neighbors(?) for the last year or two sometimes parks a cute "pet taxi" van in front of my apartment building. :)
Ive seen this thing too.........
Cheaper than Destroyed Upscale Furniture
I've seen one parked on Oxford St. in Cambridge. It was empty at the time, but decorated. The owners had stuck a number of promotional fridge magnets on the side next to the sidewalk so dog walkers could take them as they passed by. Smart.
Dachshund in a Fez
There's a woman in Watertown who walks with her dachshund in a shopping cart. The dachshund has a nice wardrobe of sweaters and sometimes wears a fez.
(Mind you it's been several years since I've seen this woman).
Next thing you know...
...there's gonna be an airline dedicated to transporting kids in expensive strollers.
