Used to be a big problem in Singapore esp. in public housing- someone told me that a lot of the elevators now have moisture detectors in the floor and that the elevator stops if it gets wet. They didn't tell me what happens to you if caught peeing in an elevator, but my guess is that you get a choice between 40 lashes with a rattan cane or being tossed from the top of the building. Singapore is many things - subtle is not one of them.
