There will be a Sunday Globe this weekend

How the Herald is preparing

By now, parts of the Sunday Globe have already been printed

so I vote "yes".

Ah, but ...

Do you think they'll be delivered?

If the Globe does go under, I wonder what happens to people's subscriptions?

You _could_ try to recover...

... your remaining subscription price in court.

Heh.

We're lucky, I guess

We're billed monthly so, at most, we'd only be out to the New York Overlords for one month before we have to file as unsecured creditors :-).

Am I paying in advance or in arrears?

I also have it billed monthly to my credit card. I have no idea whether I'm paying for the previous month's service or the following month.

not to worry,

I understand they're scrupulously careful with things like credit card info....

Not a really good bet to

Not a really good bet to make.

There was a major magazine (well, major is relative) that went online only in march. The last issues was finished and had begun printing when they decided to close up shop.

They'll probably substitute

They'll probably substitute the NY Times for the remainder of the subscription billing period.

Kindle Edition???

We switched to the Kindle edition. Wonder if that is a possible future for some form of newspaper.

Nowadays:

I just go out and buy the Sunday Globe each week, mainly for the Op-Eds, the Magazine, and the Arts/Movies sections.

Ah, but the real poll question is..

.. will you be buying a souvenir copy of the Globe, just in case?

And have the Globe unions prepared an extra-large print run for the Friday and Sunday papers?
