That poor bee. It lost its stinger when it knocked down a row of letters. At Busy Bee Cleaners, Washington Street in Roslindale.

My grandmother, somewhere along the line, conflated "busy as a bee" and "cool as a cucumber".

For as long as I've known her, if you ask how she's been, she'll say she's busy as a cucumber.
