Two housebreak suspects learn the hills of Roslindale have eyes
Boston Police credit an alert resident for helping them arrest a couple of kids on housebreaking charges on Glendower Road after school yesterday.
Police say a neighbor called police around 3 p.m. after observing the two in the back of 60 Glendower Rd. trying to pry open a rear window. The window apparently proved too tough for them, police say, and so they traipsed over to 62 Glendower, where officers found them trying to get into the house by prying open both a window and a door:
The suspects were confronted and two sets of rubber gloves were observed at their feet. One of the suspects stated, 'They're so we don't leave our prints.'"
The alleged aspiring yeggs, 14 and 15 and both from Roslindale, were arrested on charges of breaking and entering a dwelling house by force in the daytime.
Innocent, etc.
