Time for a Boston city college, candidate says
By adamg on Wed, 05/13/2009 - 3:20pm
Bill Trabucco is one of the many people running for an at-large seat on the Boston city council this year. He has a Web site, where you can learn he's taken stands on many issues, from setting up a free city college for all BPS graduates and forgiving residents' parking tickets once a year (he's for them) to potholes and kicking puppies (he's against them).

Community colleges
The city already has Bunker Hill and Roxbury community colleges. Both are two-year, but if he thinks their missions are too narrow, it would make more sense to expand on the existing institutions than to create a new third one.
Ah, but you make the mistake
of taking it too seriously. the website is far more amazing when viewed on its merits.
We need to get a beat reporter on his campaign, pronto. I am *very* interested in what he has to say ;)
NO, no, here's the way you do this
-Hold a press event and announce that they'll now be known as City College Boston - Bunker Hill and City College Boston - Roxbury
-Appoint a whole new layer of administrators for the combined enterprise, composed of mentally challenged relatives and rich dudes you owe favors
-Float a bond and spend the money on a new building named after yourself (natch!)
-Pat yourself on the back and send the pictures to your press department
WOW....
It's great to see a fellow Dorchester resident throw his hat into the ring... It is obvious from his 8th grade Science award that he is overly qualified for leadership…..
theme song
Wow - all this stuff and it's free - theme song should be:
Money for nothing and your tix for free!
Trabucco's run-in with Doug Bennett
The Herald reports the city elections board was to hold a hearing on whether Bennett deliberately put down the wrong address when he signed a Trabucco petition.
More on Trabucco's run-in with Bennett
OK, so Bennett was being kind of assholish, but what was Trabucco doing asking for his signature while he was on duty as a Boston EMT?
EMT
He works for a private service. And Ryan your Website has to be the most ghetto site I have ever seen.
