Brrr!
This rolled into the Fan Pier area around 1 pm, just as the Volvo Ocean Race leg to Galway was about to start. It was cold!
somebody turned a switch
And the fog rolled in. I headed out to the expressway on mass ave. and stopped in for some McD's before heading south - when I turned around the city had disappeared - thought they were filming a Stephen King movie.
I was on Peters Hill in the Arboretum
At about 1:30 and saw the fog roll in over downtown. It was sunny everywhere else.

Colors in nature
One of the downsides to the existence of photo editing is that striking colors in nature -- like we get sometimes with, say, weather or turning foliage -- aren't fully believed when we capture them in photos. But colors under clouds really can get surprisingly vivid.
