They played hard. They brought it about as far as could be expected when one considers the season-ending injuries to Garnett and Powe. Yes, they could have won last night, but they almost certainly would have been done in by Cleveland.
The Cubs fan in me is already looking to next season for the C's. They need to re-sign Baby -- I don't think it will be easy. He could play 30 mins off the bench next year and be the best 6th man in the league. Powe would be great too.
A backup for Rondo -- Marbury left his best game elsewhere, several years ago. And maybe a 2-3 swingman?
They could be back with a vengeance next season if everyone's healthy and the bench is shored up a bit.
