And got me to roll down my window to tell me he could take care of the scratches on my bumper:
Dude, you might help your case by not driving around in an old Accord that looks like it's held together with Bondo and three different shades of green paint applied by a kindergartener.

I get that all the time at the car wash where I go. These guys with a dumpy pick up truck drive by and one jumps out of the back and offers to fix a small almost invisible dent on my back bumper for 50 bucks. Ive had this thing looked at, its impossible to fix by suction cup (I would have done it already) without breaking the paint. It would require taking the bumper off and coming at it from the other side, and thats what a mechanic friend told me and he was willing to do it for free, I just did not want to go through the hassle. I will settle with my little dent thank you, now get back in your smoking truck and leave me alone.
They're in my hood all the time too
"Dent Man" has accosted me at the Faneuil/Market St. stoplight next to Scrub-A-Dub twice. Each time, I've politely told him that "I have a guy", as I'd imagine most people do.

Just sayin'.

A dent is not much of an issue, its when the paint chips and it starts rusting. Thats when it goes downhill.
