I care about the Clark Rockefeller trial

I'll read about it but I won't follow it obsessively

This doesn't seem to be a choice in your poll, so I didn't vote.

"Who?" seems to be the operative question, no matter the other responses selected....

Very true

I'm less interested in the trial itself than I am about the bizarre petition to avoid using his real name during it, and its implications.

Whoa, Karl has quite the bald spot

That's what I've learned by watching Fox 25's live stream of the trial, which is on now, even though right at the moment nothing much is happening beyond The Defendant sitting in front of a huge stack of papers. Oh, wait, the judge just came in and now the camera is fixed on the ceiling. Now that's gripping. Oh, cool, judge looks like he could be one of my cousins, now back to Karl, and, whoa, Channel 25 is sparing no expense - they seem to have at least two cameras in the courtroom. But could somebody please move the microphone in front of Clarkie? It's making him look like he has a large, gaping black hole in his head from which his soul has escaped.

OK, now the camera is panning the spectators

Most of whom seem to be reporter types, many of them either smirking or bored, but one of whom looks like he could be Herr Gehertsreiter's older brother.

OK, I have to stop this, I can feel my brain dissolving.
