Inmate fires back at Herald over state-rep story
By adamg on Thu, 06/04/2009 - 8:24am
Last week, the Herald reported state Rep. Gloria Fox was under investigation for "sneaking a murderer’s girlfriend - previously bagged for engaging in 'sexual acts' with the killer con - into a state prison in Bridgewater."
Darrell Jones, the inmate in question, fires back at the Herald with a blog post.

Jeez what's he in for, killing the English Language?
Run on sentences in the first degree...."Who Gives a F**K about an Oxford comma" indeed!
Bonus Points
despite the fact that you're not verified, Strunk & White, you get bonus points for the reference to the Elements of Style. I haven't thought about that book in a long time (it was replaced by the Redbook).
Less to the Herald story than meets the eye?
Adam Reilly notices that a Herald follow-up story drops any references to the sex act in question.
Huh- seems to merit a response from the Herald.
The guy basically says that 80% of the Herald story was false. If Jones is telling the truth, then Van Sack and her editors would seem to be guilty of libel.
Incidentally, Strunk & white, Mr. Jones would hardly be the first blogger to make a grammatical error or five. (Case in point: didn't you mean, "Jeez- what's he in for?")
predicted Herald headline, above the fold
