Doing it wrong
Brute-forced lock, baseball caps, shorts, pasty-white legs, and shopping bags?
Aren't high-end burglars supposed to wear black catsuits, use gadgets to override the security systems, and slide down cables launched from mini-crossbows?
You ring enough doorbells

I'd check Beacon Hill - no
I'd check Beacon Hill - no shortage of thieves there.
Hate to say it, but who
Hate to say it, but who cares and why?
BPD pretty much says tough luck and call your insurance to everyone else. There's 2-3 break ins a week in Southie.
Nice to know you'll only get help and an investigation if you're a high roller in a supposedly secure luxury apartment complex.
