Fancy pizza joint opens this week in West Roxbury

ParkwayBoston reports on the imminent opening of the Upper Crust on Centre Street. Unlike all the other pizza places along Centre Street, save DeNo's, Upper Crust is intended as a sit-down restaurant.
Meanwhile, Westie types jonesing for some shawarma will have to keep waiting. The King, i.e., Shawarma King south, has replaced the "Opening June 1" sign with a couple of hand-written "opening soon" signs on the door.

I purposely drive out of my way on my commute home every day to see if the king has opened.
Unfortunately,
they did not get a beer and wine license yet - none available through the city at this time
So I won't raise a toast to their success just yet
Thanks for the update; I've deleted the stuff about them offering alcohol.
