Friend's of Eddie Coyle
I watched Friend's of Eddie Coyle for the first time the other day and highly recommend it. It's got a ton of identifiable local spots. Also, someone told me that Dillon's Bar was in the Best Buy at the corner of Mass Ave and Newbury. Really shows how the city's changed since the 70s!
This would make a great outdoor film series!
How about doing this as an ongoing outdoor film series? Of course you would be limited by the movies ratings.
I wrote a piece about outdoor movies in Boston yesterday. Made in Massachusetts would make a wonderful theme for a free series. Maybe it could be sponsored by the people who benefit from making films here.
Where should it be held? If there an outdoor venue where they could do movies other than G and GP?
Is your piece online?
If what you wrote about outdoor movies is online, can you provide a link? Thanks.
Link to piece on outdoor movies.
Happy to, Here's the link
