Shame on the politicians like Menino and Murray who showed up to the event, but did not at least stop by the protesters to tell them they support them and will push for their rights. Menino has skipped out on the South Boston parade for a similar issue, and I can only assume Murray is fully behind gay marriage so its not like they are against the morals of the protesters. They just did not want to be seen with the protesters at a vice presidential stop, which is sad. Obama needs to see the dissent, he can handle it, he is not George Bush.

Looks like they were out early and in the wrong place. Joey B and his motorcade came at about 8:30 from Storrow down Boylston to Ipswich. Ooops.
