Why we have Michael Jackson to thank for those Patriots Super Bowl victories

I think you mean ...
I think you mean, the more capable hands of Victor Kiam!
Who else knows more about owning a football team than a guy who runs an electric razor company??
Kiam loved the Patriots so much, he bought the company!
Intermediate step
If Sullivan hadn't gone bankrupt, he wouldn't have sold the team to Kiam, who wouldn't have then turned around and sold it
to Kraftto Orthwein, who sold it to Kraft.Yes, the above is corrrected!
kiam didnt sell pats to kraft
kiam sold them to james orthwein. he(orthwein) wanted to move the team to st louis. kraft bought the team from orthwein.
You're right
And Kraft initially wanted to move the team to Hartford.
i think that was to try to
i think that was to try to get some money from the state for gillette stadium. Once he realized nothing would come of it he stayed here anyways.
More details on Sullivan, Kiam and Kraft
It was, of course, a bit more complicated.
