Is it just vacation for Steve LeVeille?

LeVeille isn't on WBZ 1030 this week and some anxious fans are wondering.
UPDATE: Just heard from one of those people in A Position to Know, who says there's nothing sinister going on: LeVeille had a cold last week and now he's on vacation: "He hasn't been purged again!"

...working on a machine that'll control the weather. Nah, not really-- word on the Allston-Brighton line is that he's on vacation. Remain calm. All is well.
Fill-ins Morgan White Jr.
Fill-ins Morgan White Jr. and Bradley Jay have repeatedly mentioned that he was out sick (last week) and taking planned vacation (this week), but I seem to recall Morgan saying he was "under the weather" back when he was temporarily whacked.

Last week it was just a cold. This week was a planned vacation which he would have announced had he been in.
Both Morgan and the producer knew of the upcoming vacation, but mistakenly thought it was going to be the week after the 4th. Otherwise Morgan would have been announcing it all week.
