I wonder who they left in charge at the T. I can't imagine only one car on the Red line being an hour late...
Red Line - Train 1116 (2:00pm inbound) is experiencing 60 minute delays and train 1113 (2:15pm outbound) is experiencing 20-25 minute delays. 7/4/2009 2:56 PM

Key questions the alert left unanswered:
Where was the inbound 2:00 train coming from?
Where was the outbound 2:15 train going to?
And, last I recalled, the public version of the subway timetable doesn't list trains by number.

The train numbers and departure times match times on the Rockport/Newburyport commuter rail line. Looks like who ever (or what ever) oversees the distribution of MBTA delay alerts sent Rockport Line delays out as Red Line delays.

I suspected as much - just funny there was never a 'retraction' email sent out.
