Charlie Baker no longer a bridesmaid

The Globe reports that Baker has apparently tired of his perpetual inclusion on lists of "Republicans thinking of running for governor," will quit his job as Harvard-Pilgrom CEO and actually run for governor in 2010. Christy decides it's time for a Big Gulp, then realizes he doesn't sell those.

WOW This will be one heck
WOW
This will be one heck of a political race. You have Dick Morris AND Plouffe both working in the back rooms in addition to former Democrats running as Indies and former Indies running as Republicans. Health Care CEO's, Turnpike wistleblowers, State Treasurers with interesting backgrounds in campaign finance, Governors with expensive cars. I can not wait to see the campaign ads for this one. Bonus points with Deval seemingly being in support of Windmills off of Cape Cod and Mihos being against them! Ted Kennedy's head is going to explode as he is forced to back the man who wants more windmills in his back yard!
guv race now worth watching
1. The Patrick folks should be concerned.
2. The Cahill folks should be wondering if it's not too late for Tim to reverse course and stick with his current gig.
3. The Baker folks have reason for optimism, but is he the latest GOP guv hopeful who will get bored and distracted if elected, while doing absolute nada for the State GOP?
Could 2010 be the year of the "business guys," with both Baker and Steve Grossman making strong runs???
Patrick has been a moron at
Patrick has been a moron at the very least Id like to see him scared. As for Cahill it is too late for him, the seat is not worth fighting with Grossman over. He made the move, he has to keep going.
