Boston already gets more average annual rainfall (in inches) than Seattle;
Seattle's many drizzly days mainly occur in the nine months September-May, not in June -- an average of 11 precipitation days in June in Boston compared to nine in Seattle.
Anyone who has ever spent time in Seattle knows that Summer there is beautiful -- lots of sunny, clear days in the 70s, low humidity, etc. It's the other nine months of the year that are dreary and overcast.
So comparing Boston's number of rainy days in June this year to Seattle's is a just plain stupid story.

What a stupid story
It is a stupid story because:

Not hot enough
Agreed. The problem in the NW are the "winter" months. Four months without sun?
I think you are being generous on Seattle. It just never gets hot enough for the beach.
