Sails Boston

David Parsons took a look at the sails on the Sagres II, one of the Tall Ships docked in Boston Harbor this weekend.

Go see this ship!
It is one of the biggest and tallest we have this weekend, and the line was very short when I boarded it around 6:30 this evening.
It's a German ship that was seized by the Allies in World War II. The sign outside says that the US sold it to Brazil for $5,000, which wasn't a lot of money even in 1946. Brazil later sold it to Portugal, whose navy now owns it.
