Car crash shuts B line

The MBTA reports it is running bus service between Washington Street and Boston College because of a car crash at Chiswick Street that ended with a car on the tracks.

Joe Gravellese reports his train stopped around 9:30 a.m. near Chestnut Hill Avenue. He tweets:

got off the train to walk to d-line-lots of cops, ambulances about half mile past chestnut hill av inbound. Not pretty.

Green B Line being diverted due to auto accident at Commonwealth/Chizwick Street. A substitute bus shuttle will run between Washington Street and Boston College.

it's Chiswick Street, not Chizwick
