Investors to keep Bay State Banner going

The Globe reports that Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree has rounded up 12 individuals and groups to put up enough money to keep the paper going. He didn't name them.

Glad to hear this

This is really positive news. Not only saving the paper itself, but also as a galvanizing and organizing opportunity for leaders among the city's black community.

I hope they can forge a unique community relationship with the Banner that keeps the paper viable and sustainable. It could turn out to be an approach that can be adapted by/for other community papers.

Virtual Rent Party

Good to hear that Ogletree could put something together.
