Ken George unwraps the new look of WBUR's Web site, which looks a lot more like the sort of site you'd bookmark for breaking news than today's model. Interestingly, it's all being done in WordPress (well, interestingly to Web geeks who enjoy such back-end details).

A bit confused by it. The grid is nice and there is lots of news and information, but it does feel a lot more like an ad-supported newspaper site than the site of a radio station. I mean, where are the Listen Now links? Where is info about current and upcoming programs? Where is the multimedia? There are lots of places to go for print news. I thought the WBUR difference was, err, the audio.

The Listen Live button and other audio-related features are at the top of the screen, which seems sensible enough. Maybe when it's a full screen page instead of a scrunched down screenshot it stands out more?
