Although, to be fair, looks like they have a different idea of guerilla marketing, one which should meet the exacting standards of the local constabulary.

Gorilla Marketing?
Hasn't Zoo New England been doing that for quite a while?
green eco sustainable ooga booga!
"...members of a street team handed out National Grid's polar bear messaging on ecofriendly postcards containing flower seeds..."
-They print up a bunch of postcards, an activity that presumably uses some natural resources and releases a certain amount of CO2 into the atmosphere, for the sole purpose of yelling about how green they are.
-They put flower seeds in them. Cool! Let's encourage folks to spread some kind of generic garden-center flower seed all over the planet! That could never be a problem!
-The upshot of all this is that people now have a vaguely eco-benevolent mental image of a company whose core competency, as the kids say, is burning fossil fuels for money.
And the planet benefits how?
