Charlie Baker manages to make us forget Michael Flaherty's mixer

Charlie Baker's new campaign site has a folksy video of him standing in a park somewhere explaining why we should vote for him. Only, as the Globe reports, Baker was nowhere near a park while making the video:

It actually was produced by having him stand indoors in front of a green screen and then superimposing the scenery behind him.

Baker wants you to sign your life away provide contact info to see the video, which seems like an odd strategy for campaign information. The kind souls at Blue Mass Group, naturally, post it without a registration requirement.

Also: Looks like the heat got to Baker's Web site - his logo is melting.

Baker's going to win

I liked the video. Baker presents himself great. He's going to win.

Sure, nice video

Especially when enhanced with that reality distortion field.

Honestly, he's running for governor, not weatherman. If he's too cheap to find a videographer who can actually record him outside (hey, that's a virtue - he's a Republican and they're supposed to be thrifty, right?), he should've just done the standard sitting-in-his-den (or kitchen) shtik.

Can't do that

We'd be criticizing his choices in appliances for weeks.
