The Quincy Patriot Ledger reports on the arrest of a man living in the same building as Jeffrey Phillips, who'd gone missing after talking to his mother on Friday.

I was still holding out for him to have wanted to disappear for a while on his own. I'm glad police were able to figure out what happened to him. He sounded like a good guy.

I just want to thank Universal Hub for giving me and the people who knew Jeffrey an outlet for calling attention to his being missing... and just generally feeling like we were "doing something" by being able to post it to the community that reads here.
Jeffrey was a regular at the Dogwood in JP. We only really knew him through there... brunches and watching the Sox and ooohing and ahhing over pictures of his kitten/cat on his new iPhone.
Sometimes it's the people who are these small, regular, joyful parts of your day to day life that make your community great. Jeffrey was one of those people.
