In Boston, the city celebrated National Night Out by throwing a big party at the Franklin Park Zoo. In Milton, though, they celebrated by having cops dress kids up in flack jackets and helmets and letting them play with machine guns, Mark Baard reports.

Those little kids are too young be let handling guns. They might get the idea firearms are harmless toys at that age and get into tragic situation.
