Break out the DEET and empty those buckets: West Nile found in JP

Your risk of getting the flu, and your risk of dying from flu or complications of the flu are both vastly higher than the risk of either getting west nile or dying from it.

This winter is predicted to be way worse than usual, because the epidemic has been smoldering and brewing over the summer.

Population studies demonstrate that 1,000 people are exposed/contract west nile for every 1 person who dies. There are a lot of "silent" cases out there.

My neighbor has two dirty pools that I'm sure would be very appealing to mosquitoes. What can I do about it?
