Globe: Arrest made in Coolidge Corner rape

What right do rapists have to do what they do? Destroying a woman's sense of security, bodily integrity and sense of personal power in the world. Rapists need to be put away, but the sentences meted out to them are frequently all too short.

The victim of the attack, a 30-year-old Brookline woman, was returning from the airport in a taxi, and asked the driver to stop in Coolidge Corner so she could get money to pay for the ride from an ATM, according to Norfolk County Assistant District Attorney Bethany Rogers.

So, the cab driver lied to her that the cab's card thing didn't work, so he could get cash AND run the meter at an ATM. Meanwhile, she exits the cab in a commercial area and is raped and abducted.

CRACKDOWN TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that she sues the holy living shit out of the cab driver AND the cab company.
