Mitt's outta here

Won't seek re-election - freeing him up to move back to Utah, renounce all the positions that got him elected here (um, make that: renounce all the positions he hasn't already renounced) and crack jokes about the people who elected him governor. Move sets up Kerry vs. Christy slugfest (more).

Sco: It's nice, at least, that he's making speeches in Massachusetts again.

Steve: I didn't realize ol' Mitten had accomplished so much as governor because none of it occurred in Massachusetts.

MassRight sees a bleak future for a Healey candidacy:

... So, unless something dramatic happens, I predict a return to total-marxist-lockdown of a Democrat MGC and Governer for MA in 2006.

God save the Commonwealth.

Charlie handicaps the candidates on both sides - and one non-candidate:

Charlie Baker? Is pissed.

I was curious about the "whirlwind of accomplishment" Romney mentioned; I don't think it's blown past my corner of the state yet.

Agreed

The man has no real significant accomplishments to speak of. But that won't stop him from blaming Democrats for everything he couldn't get done here.
