Car vs. trolley on Beacon Street: Everybody loses

Service all messed up on the C line due to the inability of a trolley and a car to occupy the same space at the same time at St. Paul Street, the T reports.

Wonder if the accident was caused by the
trolley operator misreading the new-fangled hieroglyphics - excuse me - "light rail" signals that the Feds mandated be installed to replace the old red yellow green traffic lights with the big "MBTA SIGNAL" signs as part of the recent Beacon Street reconstruction?
No Collision
There was not a trolly vs auto last night. Just a car that lost control and ended up on the rails. The only thing he hit was a small tree.
