What kind of leak? What part of the station? Considering its no where near done, how is it "new"?

"Nowhere near done"? Well, the 'finished' half only needs an escalator. This happens to be on the inbound platform near the main stairs down. One was an active puddle, which was interesting as it hasn't rained in days... the 'rear' white stuff was scaling, showing several water and evaporation cycles.

"New" can also be subjective. At Arlington and Kenmore, the ceiling pretty much gets no attention. They spray pain the ceilings white, but don't wash it, scrape it, or patch any holes. So in a matter of weeks the ceilings can look terrible as conditions you painted over come back.

So escalator aside, this section of the station is indeed "done" And the brand new nice tile floor is getting damaged months after opening, with the 'west' end of the station still under construction.

This comment applies to both the union endorsement of Menino and this and the other leaky new T stations. Shoddy workmanship that runs way over budget and years behind schedule is why these unions continue to support Menino. There are no consequences for the developers, construction companies or political appointees who feather their nests with public funds.
