Harvard paper says it ran Holocaust denial ad by mistake

The Crimson accepted money to run a week's worth of Holocaust denial ads, but pulled them after the frist day because of protests from, among others, students whose grandparents were killed in the Holocaust. The paper's president said the ad wasn't supposed to run and apologized.

Why did they pull the ad? I know it's a ridiculous allegation but it is free speech. If it were an ad on how GW orchestrated 9-11 as an excuse for invading Iraq would it have been removed? Why is it that certain groups are treated this special?

No free speech issue here

The First Amendment is limited to actions by the government. The Crimson, as a private entity, is entitled to do what it wants.

But then again, as we all know, the Jews control the media, right?

They can self-publish

Nobody ever stopped the Jews for Jesus or the LaRouchies or the fringe of the fringe of the so left they are right wingers from handing out pamphlets on the street. Or having their own websites.

They have every right to do that.

I see no one can answer the question which is why are some groups treated special? The ad makes a preposterous allegation and is paid for and pulling the ad only lends credence. And the person that said "jews control the media" shows his ignorant Gates like reaction to any discussion of the issues and instead screams racism at every opportunity.

Bite me

Come out and tell us exactly which groups are getting special treatment, oh brave anon.

Good on the Crimson for refusing revenue from contemptible haters.

Glenn Beck an Emancipation Proclamation denier and Civil Rights Act denier is still on TV daily with his Joe McCarthy screeds spreading fear and loathing. Sign the petition below if you object to Beck saying President Obama is "a racist" and has a "deep-seated hatred for white people."

Beck is on a campaign to convince the American public that President Obama's agenda is about serving the needs of Black communities at White people's expense. It's repulsive, divisive and shouldn't be on the air.
