That's one of the worst
That's one of the worst intersections in the city for pedestrian crossings. Given the number of panhandlers whom frequent it and meander between stopped cars, I'm surprised this isn't a more frequent event.
Explain, please
I can't get tweets from the BPD at the computer I'm at now, so can you explain to me the connection between the panhandlers and a bike accident?

I think the posters point was that its an incredibly dangerous intersection, with panhandlers frequently walking between stopped traffic, and he is surprised there aren't more accidents between pedestrians/bikers.
