These stores are so
These stores are so ridiculously big, they should leave every seasonal item out year-round. Sometimes you need an Easter item in August! I used to get worked up about this stuff but I don't shop in those aisles, ever, so I really have nothing constructive to add.
I wouldn't mind a couple of
I wouldn't mind a couple of Peeps right now.
Am I the only one that
Am I the only one that prefers slightly stale Peeps to fresh ones? Growing up, my grandmother used to poke holes in the packages about a week before we all got together for Easter.
Slightly, very slightly, and I wouldn't say prefer...
but I know what you mean. If they get a little crusty edge to the sugar, that's nice.
put 'em in the fridge
And they'll crystalize more, creating that stale effect without waiting for them to go stale. yum.

who and the what now?
Crazy Eddie
I grew up in NY - so not sure you had the "It's Christmas in August" commercials from Crazy Eddie's appliances - but we did and apparently target took note. Had to buy some outdoor lights last the other day and Target already had a large display of Christmas lights (and I think some ornaments) on display!
His prices are ...
[Hands spread wide] INSAAAAAANE!
And, as it turned out, so was his financing.
Christmas in September
Beyond what words can express. I'm even in retail and believe this is simply pushing the envelope way too early!!!! Somewhere along the line we have lost what the true meaning of the holidays should be.
We need a campaign of change for this - the other campaign of change does not seem to be working. Perhaps this one will!!!
