Police: Two kids sent to hospital after van plows into school bus in Hyde Park

Boston Police report the injuries to the two students, both 9, did not appear to be serious following the accident at 8 a.m. today at Reservation and Smithfield roads. However, both were taken to Children's Hospital after one of the students complained of head pains.

Police say:

According to witnesses, the operator of the van was traveling at a high rate of speed and slid into the school bus after applying his brakes. Officers issued two citations to the operator of the van: one for Speeding; the other for Failure to Yield to Oncoming Traffic.

I saw a school bus that had run off the road somehow on enneking this morning and figured this would somehow be related but that is far from where I saw it.
