I've seen a van used as well, so they must have a fleet -- or perhaps they just rig people's cars with gear ad hoc?

Updated Street View incoming?

They still have my car in my driveway and I haven't owned that car for at least 2 years now. They also don't have any of my roommates' cars over the years and the last roommate to not have a car in the driveway was a while even longer than that.

What are you kidding me??? The car looks comfortable enough, he has his snacks and music. I think it would be a fine job.

As for the different sized cars Google is not the only player when it comes to these devices. As someone mentioned cities/towns/counties have similar set ups and their is also Everyscape and a company based out of the Pacific Northwest that does this sort of thing as well. It is possible one of those vans belonged to them.
