Teddy Kokoros explains why he hates the Angels more than any other team, except, you know, the obvious. Speaking of whom, Hart Brachen ponders an ALCS matchup:
... Yes, Mahty, I do indeed hate the Yankees. But now it's a hatred rooted in the tradition and history of the Boston/New York rivalry rathah than psychosis. Unlike you, Mahts, I hate because I choose to, not because I have to. Big difference. ...
The Rockies-Phillies games are starting around 2:30, so all the 9-5ers in both Philadelphia and Colorado (for whom it's actually 12:30) are either "working from home" or constantly stealing furtive glances at mlb.com between TPS reports. Either way, I'd prefer our situation.
I prefer to put the game on and go to bed, and wake up JUST before the dramatic ending.
We have an exchange student staying with us, so I need to warn her that if she hears yelling coming from my bedroom that we're not enjoying the marriage bed IN THAT WAY, as it were. wink wink. nudge nudge. say no more.
