Police: BC student picked the wrong car to bend the windshield wipers back on
Boston Police report that around 1:15 this morning, the dude decided it would be interesting to walk up to an occupied car at 1950 Beacon St. and bend back the moving windshield wipers. Unfortunately for him, police say, the car was occupied by two plainclothes Boston police officers:
Officers quickly exited their cruiser, approached the suspect and displayed their badges while identifying themselves as police officers. While officers were in the process of identifying themselves, the suspect became less than polite and proceeded to berate and belittle the officers.
Charged with being a disorderly person.
Innocent, etc.

Not charged with the willful
Not charged with the willful destruction of property?
Maybe the wipers didn't actually break
although the guy might have intended them to break. Maybe this is a rare case where that notoriously vague charge was merited. I wouldn't appreciate someone playing with my windshield wipers, whether they break or not. But maybe we're all a little high-strung in this town. Certainly it's nice to think oneself capable of occasionally "laughing it off."
Know why we're high-strung?
Because of attitudes like yours that make criminals think it's okay to behave like criminals.
Give him a 30-day jail sentence. That will teach him not to touch things that don't belong to him. My mother taught me that when I was SEVEN. What's his mother's problem?
Oh, and he appears to be French-American, so upon further review, give him 60 for being a fucking embarrassment to French-Americans. See, I call out my own ethnicity too.
There is justice in Brighton
There is justice in Brighton for scumbag vandals sometimes.
