As a long suffering Cubs fan, I don't get it. You've got a team that has won two World Series championships during the decade, provided countless great moments, and managed to make the playoffs with a roster that has definite weak spots.
Why the doom and gloom over one playoff run cut short? This is not the era of Bucky f*****g Dent and One Strike Away! This franchise is deservedly close to being called a perennial contender. Who woulda thunk it?!
