Who signed the petitions to ban gay marriage?

Yes, you, too can see if your neighbors don't like gay marriage - although the premise of the database is to check to make sure your name didn't fraudulently end up on the petitions submitted to the state.

KnowThyNeighbor.org
Another site with the list of signatures is KnowThyNeighbor.org. It has a MySQL application that allows you to search by city or zip code, and you get back a list of not just names, but also street addresses. It says that searching by name is disabled, but that's not really true if you're willing to fool around a bit with URL parameters.
As you can imagine, this site is quite controversial. Check out their blog.

The link I provided is for a mirror of the KnowThyNeighbor database - they had a server meltdown yesterday. And while, yes, the stated claim now is to let you make sure that your name isn't on the petitions through fraud, that's not why they started this project.
The difference between the two sites
The one I pointed to, by MassEquality, lets you search by town. The one Ron pointed to now lets you search by last name.
The other difference
is that the MassEquality one only lists names, while the KnowThyNeighbor site also lists street addresses and zip codes.
I'm a bit surprised that MassEquality posted this at all, because I thought they publicly opposed KnowThyNeighbor when it was first announced.
They probably wouldn't have ...
... if there hadn't been so many reports of signature-gatherers using deceptive tactics to get people to sign.
Oh Yes They Would Have
MassEquality had every intent on publishing the names but only under the pretense of fraud not of opening the dialogue. From what I learned from KnowThyNeighbor insiders was that KTN and MassEquality parted ways when MassEquality refused to acknowledge the importance of empowering the gay community.
Embarrassing
I checked the database to find my close-minded mother the only person in my entire neighborhood to sign her name. I'm ashamed and have a strong urge to go beat the 'catholic' out of her.

Is beating the 'catholic' out of your "close-minded mother" an example of the so-called 'tolerance' you want people to have for diverse views? Given marriage has been defined for 3,000 years across all cultures and religions as the union of two opposite genders biologically capable of reproducing the human race, it appears YOU are the one who trying to force your view on those simply content to continue ordering society in the same way we have for millenia.
