A park debate

Boston Park Advocates hosts a debate on Thurs., Oct. 22 to let at-large city council candidates discuss parks and open-space issue in Boston.
The session starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse on Franklin Park Road, off Blue Hill Avenue.

If only our parks were as
If only our parks were as well kept as the golf courses the pols are always playing on. Maybe Parks and Recreation could recruit some of their management?

Maybe if all of our parks didn't have freeways cutting through them...
Are you talking about the Esplanade and Storrow Drive?
That's the only one I can think of that meets your description, and it's run by the state, not the city.

Anon was prob. speaking about the Department of "Conservation" and "Recreation" highways. There are lots and lots of them: http://www.mass.gov/dcr/winterstormplan.htm including storrow drive.
