Did anybody manage to finish today's Shaughnessy column, in which Danny Boy just can't keep from marveling that few people in London have ever heard of Tom Brady?
Dan Shaughnessy Watch valiantly tries, also noting Shank's continuing disdain for Stateside Patriots fans.
Ed. note: Yes, I admit it: I've been waiting for the right moment to use that line from that eTrade baby commercial.

Glad it's not just me
I looked at this column and wondered, what the hell is this guy yammering about? Is he jealous of Brady and his supermodel girlfriend? Is he so hard up for a story that he has to create one out of, well, nothing? Or is he just a giant asshole?
Note to Shankspierre
The world does NOT ... repeat NOT revolve around Boston. Or Boston sports. Boston is a mid-sized city with an outsized sports establishment ... but it is still in the US with US sports that much of the rest of the world thinks of as novelty games. Why anyone would be surprised that Brady isn't well known outside the USA is beyond me.
I think Shank needs a sense of proportion ... anybody got some fairy cake?
FYI to David Y: she's not his girlfriend any more. He's her husband.

I don't know about eTrade commercials, or stuff like that - I read books. So maybe that's why I've never heard of Tom Brad, either. Do you mean Tom Brady? Coffee shortage in Gaffinville?
