Campaign notes: One last mayoral forum, the case of the missing FiOS Guy and more endorsements
Tom Menino and Michael Flaherty will both be on Radio Boston today, at 1 p.m. - 90.9 FM or streaming on the Web.
The Herald wonders where the FiOS guy is, with Flaherty charging politics is blocking Verizon from bringing the service here and Menino charging Verizon just doesn't wat to pay the city any taxes.
Jack Hynes, son of the last guy to unseat an incumbent Boston mayor, did a robocall for Floon.
The West Roxbury/Roslindale Transcript endorses Menino and picks Arroyo, Connolly, Kenneally and Murphy for at-large council seats.
Globe: Flaherty keeps punching as Menino stays low-key.
The Dorchester Reporter profiles the eight at-large council candidates.
If you missed the last District 9 (Allston/Brighton) city-council debate, Michael Pahre wrote it up. He also provides highlights from Ciommo's and Selvig's financial reports.
If you missed the last District 1 (East Boston, North End, Charlestown) candidate forum, Matt Conti wrote it up.

Zzzzzzzz *Ring*
Ugh. Robo call from LaMattina's campaign today. at 9:14 AM!!! Geez, don't these guys have any concern over harassing people.
Even worse - I'm not even in his district!
Aarrrgghh!
Mayor Flynn too
OK, 2 calls already for Flaherty, enough!
Mr. Flaherty,
Please, no more robo calls! Thanks.
I received an old fashioned
I received an old fashioned live person phone bank call last night. It was refreshing, though I still hung up on it.
messages everyday
I've gotten a robo message form Flaherty every day this week -- the other night it was a live person who seemed a tad bit confused about where she had called.
Sometimes you have to question these campaign tactics...and I'm not sure how Ray Flynn and Jack Hynes robo calls are supposed to make me think Flaherty is someone new progressive face...
One more link?
An obscure little journal called The Boston Globe also offered its council endorsements today:

I know it's not the Parkway Transcript, but for what it's worth.
No, it's not Parkway Transcript
Also, I simply missed it. Thanks for the link.
Herald endorsed
four as well a couple days back-
http://news.bostonherald.com/news/opinion/editoria...
Allston Brighton Tab endorsed Menino too
seems to be a trend ...
Herald endorsement is a joke
The Herald editors are clearly not talking to their reporters. The Herald endorsed Tomas Gonzalez for at-large city council on Wednesday and then THE VERY NEXT DAY ran a story by David Wedge showing that their guy failed to make an appearance at the polls in numerous recent elections.
http://www.bostonherald.com/news/politics/view.bg?...
Those are some major elections Mr. Gonzalez missed - first Latino city councilor of Boston, first African-American governor of MA, first African-American president of the USA.
So, let's see if I have this right, Herald Editors: you're asking me to cast a vote for a serial non-voter? Do I have that right?
