Mass. Republicans have the best attack ads

The latest is from Scott Brown. Not quite up there with Jack E. Robinson's "Vote Out the Lynch-pin" or Christy Miho's walking-butts ads, but on such short notice, it'll do:

In case you missed them, here are Robinson's and Mihos's contributions to the ouevre:

that was entertaining. I don't love brown, but I hate our spend-happy government so he is my choice by default I guess.

Not only do I not love it, but I think it insults the intelligence of a large percentage of the electorate and that it does not help Mr. Brown at all. The only thing that anyone knows about this guy is that he posed in a magazine, and this is what his campaign comes up with? An attack ad instead of a "here is your legitimate alternative to Massachusetts politics as usual" ad? What dolts.

A fiscal conservative but social libertarian "Yankee Republican" (yes, that's right, someone like Bill Weld) could win this seat. If Scott Brown is also one of those, no one is going to know it from this stupid ad. People will not be scared into voting for someone whom they know nothing about, because that is even scarier than voting for someone you know something about but do not like.

The best thing this ad could do would be to make people who do not like the Democrat stay home. And that, dear Brown campaign, just isn't going to win an election for a Republican in our beloved Commonwealth.

but I have resigned to the fact that either coakley or capuano will win this thing...I might as well be entertained by a lowbrow attack ad.

of the geniuses that have voted in the current Great & General Court? Or is "Yes we can! Hope and change!" what passes for policy now? If Barry can get elected being NotBush, Brown has a shot being NotMartha/Capuano/fillintheblank Democrat cheeseball.

I thought the Kennedy family gets to pick who succeeds our late senator?
Or, if we can't get them all together, just get Rep Kennedy to come up from Rhode Island to pick one of the four on behalf of the family. Let's keep this process as simple and direct as possible.
