Turner predicted a big future for District 7 resident Tito Jackson, who placed fifth out of the eight at-large council candidates with more than 30,000 votes.

"Tito’s performance in my district was magnificent. ... I think he’s created himself as heir apparent to that [District 7] seat, when you look at the votes that he got from my constituents," he said.
