Man who kissed teen for no good reason ordered to stay away from her
A Brighton man who acknowledged he kissed a 16-year-old without her consent near St. Elizabeth Hospital had his travels through the neighborhood restricted for one year.
Brighton District Court Judge David Donnelly told Manuel Gonzalez, 45, he could not travel unaccompanied in Brighton outside of the Fidelis Way housing project where he lives, for going up to the girl, whom he did not know, and kissing her on July 29. Donnelly also told Gonzalez not to come within 50 feet of her should he run into her in the street.
Initial court discussions on the case highlighted the fact that Allston and Brighton are, indeed, separate neighborhoods: Gonzalez used to live in Allston and Donnelly initially was going to order him to stay completely out of Brighton, where the teen's father lives, for one year. Before he could rule on the exact boundary line between the conjoined neighborhoods, however, Donnelly learned of Gonzalez's change of address and had to come up with a new plan.

How do you know this?
Where is the original news story for your post? Do you have a link?
I was there in court this morning when it happened
So it's a first-person account, I guess. I did get some additional info in e-mail from Jake Wark, p.r. person for the DA's office (specifically, what he was charged with doing - in court, they only referred to "assault and battery").
To be honest, I was there for the Kells murder case, not this.
